Earth Spirit CD R. Carlos Nakai

In beautiful synchronicity, just when I needed it most, I was blessed with the the heavenly sound of R. Carlos Nakai's beautiful music. Playing only a simple Native American flute, his music reaches into the soul like nothing else I've ever experienced. I never imagined a simple flute could make so many beautiful sounds. I know I'm making a huge fuss about this, but I can't be the only one who feels this way as both the albums I was drawn to offer here, Canyon Trilogy and Earth Spirit, are "Gold Records" (500,000 sold). They are the first (and only) Native American recordings to earn this recognition.

Nakai has sold over four million albums in the course of his career and received several Grammy nominations. "As the Native American flute does not have any chromatic scales and it cannot play the equal temperament, it is difficult to play. The mysterious tone color and free inspiration make inner emotion and scenery of the sound of nature.... ~Minseok Kang as quoted in "A Friend's Whisper" EARTH SPIRIT

The graceful eloquence of the solo Native American flute echoing as if in the canyons of the American west evokes a tranquility that quiets the spirit and calms the mind in this gold record album by R. Carlos Nakai. There are no returns offered on cds so I encourage you to listen to him on youtube before you choose to buy a cd.

THIS IS THE LAST ONE. I will not be getting any more.
